Our Share The Road Rides: Seven Rides, One Goal
Started in 2006, our Share the Road Rides are yearly events held in communities across Ontario. The first Share the Road Ride was held in Milton in September 2006 to commemorate the loss of my husband, Ontario Provincial Police Sergeant Greg Stobbart, killed while on a training Ride on Tremaine Rd in Milton on June 6th 2006.
Over the last six years, the Ride has grown, in tribute to Greg’s life and his legacy as a husband, father, son and brother, a dedicated public servant who loved life – and loved cycling.
In his memory and in to continue Greg’s commitment to road safety, we launched the Share the Road Cycling Coalition in 2008.
Providing communities with the tools they need to become more bicycle friendly is what we do. Thank you for your support.
Together, we can build bicycle friendly communities and a bicycle friendly Ontario!
