Tragedy in Rougemont
UPDATE: Spate of cycling deaths sparks fear in Quebec’s commuter culture, Globe and Mail - May 16, 2010
At 10 am on Friday, May 14, 2010, a goup of six cyclists was struck by a vehicle on Highway 112 in the village of Rougemont, Quebec. Two of the cyclists died from injuries in the morning and a third passed away in the afternoon. Currently, the remaining three cyclists are all in hospital, without life-threatening injuries, and expected to survive.
